Jay has over thirty-two years of experience as a professional appraiser with experience
in valuing various types of urban & rural properties for acquisition & disposition,
financing, leasing, estate, property taxation, and income taxation purposes.
He has additional expertise in providing support in complex real estate assignments
for litigation, arbitration, and expropriation matters.
Jay has in-depth knowledge of the expropriation process with experience in property
acquisition of large-scale urban infrastructure project and large linear corridor
projects for the municipal, transportation and energy sector.
He has comprehensive experience in valuating full and partial takings for
acquisition/disposition as well as expropriation of transit and road projects for
government agencies as well as transmission corridors and pipelines for
Bachelor of Arts. York University
